Selective Research Papers
What is the Russia-Ukraine war revealing about the
environmental impact of violent conflict? And what is the gap in international war laws
My M.A thesis examines the environmental damage caused by
violent conflict, both direct and indirect, with the Russia
Ukraine war as a case study. It also explores gaps in
international laws and treaties on environmental protection
and proposes a framework for data collection, analysis,
damage assessment, and post-war environmental
rehabilitation.
Launching of incendiary kites and balloons from the Gaza Strip to Israel
Does launching incendiary kites and balloons from Gaza to
southern Israel meet academic definitions of terrorism? If so,
is it ecological terrorism? This paper analyzes five definitions
of terror to assess whether these acts qualify as terrorism and,
further, as environmental terrorism.
Ecological Terrorism in the light of Just War Theory - Russia Ukraine war
While just war theory is well-studied, little focuses on the environment in combat. This work examines how classical and revisionist approaches address environmental damage, both direct and indirect, using the Russia-Ukraine war as a case study.
